It's a beautiful day today in Canada! Everyone is very grateful for the sun and clear skies!
It was raining but today the sun is out! It feels like summer. Thank goodness. This is not a typical summer for Ontarions. They are accustomed to at least one month of high temperatures during the month of July. But this past July it rained and it was cold. Ugghhh!
This morning, I read a great web site and found this little funny story about holiday driving accidents, so I thought I would post it for you. Holiday driving accidents can be disappointing, but this little story presented a funny side. I hope you like it.
The funny story:
I was getting into my car when I noticed a dent. On the windshield was a note and a phone number from the driver. "I feel terrible," the woman apologized when I called. "I hit your car as I was pulling into the next parking spot."
"Please, don't worry," I said to her. "I'm sure our insurance companies will take care of everything."
"Thank you for your understanding," she said. "You're so much nicer than the man I hit on the way out." :-) : -) (end of story)
Did you like this little story? Did it make you smile? I hope so!
How are you today? I hope you are having a good week.
Did you make any holiday plans this past week?
Most people are either on holidays now or are planning to go on holidays very soon!
Well, I am going to close for now! I will write another entry two days from now!
Theresa
p.s. Can you find all the verbs in the past tense in this blog? Are there any new ones for you? If so, write them in your language log in the 'New verbs section for me!'
